SLICE is a seamless synergy of sublime contemporary dance and gravity-defying aerial technique. Four dancers connect and disconnect in their exploration of reality and the worlds that sit above and below us. The piece is adrenaline-fuelled and arranged in a series of quartets, trios and duets. The atmosphere is edgy, mesmerising and bordering on dangerous as we soar through the air. Dividing power and sensitivity, SLICE propels this art form into uncharted territory. SLICE is choreographed by Sharon Watson, Phoenix Dance Theatre.
